Re: OFFICIAL: Cayenne Turbo S (2012)
Having owned Porsches since age 15 (now 49) I must say that the Porsche dealer in KC has always been a disappointment. Service is terrible to the point where they don't put things back together correctly, they break stuff and I always find stuff undone after simple repairs. I don't trust them to change oil and put caps back on etc. They once tried to fix a rattle in my sunroof, put two huge dents in my roof behind the sunroof (from the inside out) and when I picked up the car they claimed the damage was pre- existing and that I had done it!!!! Not even possible unless I had been working on the sunroof! The sun roof still rattled. They fixed the dents but treated me like I was lying about not having done it. Incredible! Since then they inspect my car for any dents when I bring it in like I am a criminal wanting them to fix my damage. It is really sad. I have been to their showrooms many times (pulling up in 911s) and they won't even talk to me much less offer a test ride. It is not like they know me or have anything else going on at the time. Forget about getting any information from the sales people - they act like they don't even drive the cars much less have any knowledge. The prices they want vs. the trade in they offer are a 100% joke - and for what - lousy service and rude sales people? Other than warranty repair (which they screw up more than half the time) I have NO use for them. If Porsche is listening it should be pretty obvious who I am talking about. I would be happy to spend time with them detailing what needs to be done! Arrogance and incompetence is not a good way to run a business. If not for the product itself they would not be able to run a lemonade stand. Sad - I love Porsches and hate to see such poor customer service. All the good service guys have left and started their own shops - which is why I use them for all repairs. It is cheaper and MUCH better workmanship. If given a chance I would love to own the dealership and turn it around. It would be so simple!
