Hello Rennteamers,
I'm going to need new tires for this winter on my Bmw and I was wondering if any of you had an experience with one of these tires (michelin or continental).
I'm not willing to buy new alloys so I'll be using the std M-pack wheels (R18). BTW, it's just for a 3-series diesel.
Thanks in advance for your input.
Sorry, I overlooked this post. Both, Michelin and Continental, make superb winter tires. Same goes to Dunlop and even Pirelli (Sottozero Winter). I'm talking about the last and the latest generation. You can't really go wrong with either. If you drive a lot in snow, get a winter tire with lower speed rating (H tires are just the perfect combo for dry and snow) and avoid the V or even W tires. If you drive a lot on dry pavement (less snow), get a V or even W winter tire. They are usually sportier.
