Stunning ! After seeing every step of the restoration it's amazing to see the finished product vs how it arrived in your hands. It's a labor of love alright and the fact that you took it to this levels speaks a lot of how much of a perfectionist you are Iain . Thank you so much for sharing this awesome experience with us.
I hope you've got a cassette with The Persuaders theme to play on that Philips Turn-O-Lock radio!

I do indeed Tony Curtis was a man of great taste and style who also chose to drive a Rosso Dino 246

With your attention to detail ISUK I would expect nothing less That sequence was pure magic - Any plans to re enact with a trip to the South of France may I ask?

Funnily enough my better half was saying she fancied doing that only last night.
That Dino restoration is exquisite!
I believe there was somewhere back in this thread a 911 targa restoration planned?
If I am not mistaken and the candidate has been found, please give a "before" restoration pic sometime soon; and thanks!
There is a 911 targa restoration as well. It has just commenced and is at the strip down stage at present. I'm planning to go to the restoration specialist this week to discuss what work is required. It will be going back to "as new" condition with a full restoration to the body, interior retrim, suspension overhaul, Fuchs wheel refurb' and engine and gearbox rebuild. The car is currently painted in Tangerine but will be going back into it's original colour of Light Ivory with a black vinyl and black and white checked Peppita seat centres on it's Recaro sports seats. That project will likely take around 8 months to complete so I hope to have it on the road by next June.
Enmanuel:
This is probably one of the best, if not the best restored Dino in the world at this point. It's such a detailed work, I feel honored to accompany you through the proces even just by pictures. Iain thank you so much for sharing such a special project with us.
