Yes, absolutely! Don't allow the possibility of error on your part keep you from investigating the cause of the problem, and your dealer is the best place to start that investigation.
That might be one possible culprit. I guess you didn´t hit the starter button by accident when you made that turn? What you didn´t mention is whether the car started again without any issues afterwards.
I would definitely report it, especially under warranty. From my understanding, all Entry&Drive systems, irrespective from which manufacturer, still function even if the keyfob is not in vicinity anymore. You will just not be able to re-start the car on a latter occasion without the key. Therefore it might be a comparatively small issue within the electrical system that the car shut itself off completely, not necessarily an issue with the Entry&Drive system itself. It could be as little as a unstable connection within the ignition switch.
I made the turn slowly because I was waiting for a car from opposite direction to pass by. I did not hit the starter button by accident. The car continued moving forward until it hit the cement curb. It has not happened since then. Is there any fault code recorded?

Do not drive your car anymore before the dealer/Porsche sorted out the problem.
Again: DO NOT drive this car again.
I had a similar problem with the DKG gearbox on my wife's M3 Cab, there was a recall later on which fixed it (a software glitch).
Since the Cayenne is already on the market for some time, I suspect a faulty ECU unit.
I had a similar problem, engine shut off completely at 140(!) kph on the Autobahn and it was really difficult to bring the car to a safe standstill afterwards, I was very lucky. The culprit: A cold solder joint (don't ask... 
).
Very dangerous situation.

Ok wow that is scary, glad to hear you are ok. I would definitely not drive the car anymore and go see the dealer straight away. They have to do a full diagnostic check on the car and will probably find something faulty like the ECU. But please tell them right away, they will fix it most likely and give you the peace of mind driving it again

I do hope that they checked the codes onboard. Therefore I assume that there is no fault code saved in the system. I still believe that it could be something simple as a cold solder joint or a malfunction in the ignition lock. From my understanding with other systems, it will keep the engine running until you manually shut it off. Even if the key itself is not in vicinity anymore. Therefore I would be very surprised if it is anything related to the key or signal transmission. It could be an issue with the controller but I assume that´d have to leave a fault code as well.

If you have not already had this confirmed by the dealer's workshop I would ask:
- Have they checked for any error codes in the diagnostic system, and what exactly did they find?
- Have they contacted the factory's service department to ask if this error profile has already arisen elsewhere?
There is naturally a first time for everything, but what are the odds that you would be the first one to experience a particular technical fault?

I talekd to the Service Adviser and he said tthere was no error code when they did the diagnostic test. He has not heard anything about this problem, this is the first time. Why the system did not record the problem?
First off, I know nothing about diagnostic systems. As far as I am concerned, electronics are the work of the devil. 
Diagnostic systems generally register anomalies as errors. Without knowing what caused the engine to shut off there'll surely be no way to know if the system should have seen it as an anomaly.
If you are sure that you did not do something "irregular" to provoke the failure, I would in your position be inclined to insist on them getting in touch with PCNA to "register" this problem and to ask for a response from the service people in Germany. The fact that a Service Adviser at a dealership in Virginia has not yet heard about this situation arising before does not mean very much in my view, but all reports of unknown issues in the field should come together at Customer Service HQ and your case would surely be passed on to a specialist as the risk of an engine and other systems cutting out while a car is being driven is hardly trivial. Don't know if the fact that it has arisen in August might delay a response?
Even allowing for the fact that it can be very difficult to locate the cause of intermittent gremlins, I personally found the response that they had driven your car around for 2 days without being able to recreate the problem rather unsatisfactory.

I agree with Fritz you should insist that your dealer register the problem with PCNA. Ron Herrick is the Field Technical Manager, PCNA Area East so I would assume that he is responsible for your dealership. I would have the dealer start with him.

I just spoke with PCNA customer service. She said all she can do is record the problem. That is it?
After reading Misha011's post immediately above yours I would be inclined to print out a copy of the thread he linked to and go back to your dealer once again with it and show them that the fact they don't know the problem does not mean a damn thing, and to tell them that you have also spoken to PCNA and now expect an update at short notice.

@ Fritz : the problem is you and I are dinosaurs. The good old days of actually looking for a fault and using the brain to try and work out what had caused it are gone. Modern day "mechanics" look at a computer read out. If it doesn't show there then it can't have happened. 
@Hammy 113 - do hope your dealer can find this potentially dangerous fault. Hopeofully the rennlist posts kindly highlighted by misha011 can help them. Not impressive when an Internet forum gives guidance to a main dealer regarding fault finding. Not a recommendation for Porsche's technical internal communications.
At the very least it will show them there is history of similar faults.
