Some interesting 911s in my hometown
This weekend I visited my parents in my old hometown.
When I left, I spotter a strange 911 rear bumper protruding from behind another parked car.
Turns out, some Porsche owners probably had a little tour going on and stayed over for lunch in the little town.
Saw a 997 turbo can, a 996 turbo, a 993 C4, a 997 mk1, a new boxster and a 996 GT3 (which sadly didn't park), but also these interesting examples:
a 996 convertable with a weird kit on it: front was made to look like a 997, but fitment was a bit poor. The back looked better fitting, but I am not sure if it would be my taste.
The other was also nice; back in the 70s and 80s, the dutch highway police used g-series and 964 targas to patrol the Dutch highways. Off lately, I have seen some promotional articles about a restored police 911. This probably wasn't the one, but I was still excited to see this baby!
