    By coincidence there is an exhibition showing Pininfarina's work here in London from 22 June to 15 July at the Italian Cultural Institute. I will go to pay my respects.

    I went to the Pininfarina in London exhibit at the Italian Cultural Institute in Knightsbridge on Saturday morning. Nice to see various designs by the celebrated design studio. Sadly, the staff at the Italian Cultural Institute were not even aware that Sergio had died just 4 days earlier.

    The receptionist there had to unlock the room, open the wooden shutters to let the daylight in, switch on the lights and the video film display when my wife and I showed up. Clearly, the display has not been much in demand and gets opened when needed. Really surprising IMvHO. 22 June to 15 July are the exhibition dates if anyone is interested.

    He reshaped the industry with his impressive design philosophies. I hope his legacy continues and the studio continues to create great pieces. This Alfa is one of my favorite concept cars from recent times, so innovative and so elegant and sporty at the same time.
