I am struggling with the looks as well. Some angles work, others look cartoonish. The front grill treatment and rear brake light could have been better executed. The Aventador is better looking, although more extreme. The F12 may outclass the Aventador on performance, however I believe it will be close considering Lamborghini's significant advancements in chassis engineering. Both offer much more compelling packages than the new AM Vanquish, which is just an underpowered mess in this segment.
Wouldn't it better to wait till we saw the car up close before we passed any judgement? I find in marverlous personally (unlike that boot-shaped FF) but we all have to bear in mind that Ferraris look much better in the metal than on pictures. Unlike Maseratis if I may add.

I agree, it must be seen in the flesh to be fairly judged, however my initial impression is not so good. One thing I know for sure, that engine is absolutely incredible.

How do you know nobody has alrady seen it?
The secret of life is to admire without desiring.

It really does look a whole lot better in " in the metal" . Particularly so from the front, and 45 degree angles. The back takes some getting used to, and can appear quite awkward depending on which angle its viewed from. Here's an iPhone shot from Maranello. The real proof of the pudding, as ever, will be when we get to drive it .

Hello Crayphile,
Is Rosso Berlinetta closer to rubi color or Rosso Corsa in person? In the photo from Geneva show, it looks much lighter closer to Rosso Scuderia.
Nothing like Scuderia. It has a very slight maroon tinge to it, which will be more pronounced in sunlight I suspect - like Rosso Maranello for the FF launch.
