With a little bit of luck, I should have it end of next week.

Congrats RC, i loved the wildness and the impetuousness of PanTurbo, I'm sure Turbo S provides even more. And great that you will be having the car earlier than expected, you gotta modify your signature accordingly ;)

It was a surprise for me too: I got a call last week, telling me "hey, your car is almost ready". Today I called my dealer and he confirmed. With some luck, it could be here at my dealer end of next week. All payments have been made today, all necessary documents procured, I'm just waiting for the car to arrive.

Not many surprises possible. Only thing I don't know yet...the tires mounted. I don't want the Pirellis and I'm curious if I'm not going to end up with them. I hope it will be Michelin, Pilot Sport or Supersport. The person who saw my car thinks they were Michelin but I don't know if I'm going to be that lucky. It was impossible to choose, I really tried. The tires are coming on a just-in-time basis for production and it is almost impossible to control the type of tire mounted. At least my engine has been tested...output is...let's say...satisfactory.

I've made tire type a condition of delivery more than once. Once on M3 I told them I wouldn't take possession if it had Conti's and then again for my Boxster S and C2S. The dealer always made the changes with no argument.

I just saw a black one parked in front of me while I was sitting outside a store enjoying a nice lunchtime. It had, for lack of a better description. Aston-like wheels with black centers. It is different, but it is finished well and can look nice from some angles. (trying to be mellow)
