It looks good even upside down. I notice it did not have PASM Plus. The lower and harder suspension is still supple- and keeps the 911 true to the traditional sports car roots, especially when Sport + is engaged.
Please someone advise how to a pic into my avatar?
Thanks for the report I was there looking at that car the other day Great appearance.

BiTurbo:
Any news about the 4/4s and GT3/Turbo debut date ?
I sold my CTT and have been contemplating whether to put down a deposit on one of these in an AMG (63 trim) or wait for the 4s/turbo/GT3 ?
It's no surprise that MB is forcing this view - it's the only one that suits the car. As soon as you start seeing the other headlight your stomach acid starts to boil...

Trundle_GT3:
Anybody getting Knee Brusing on the speaker grill since the door panel comes into the cabin an additional 3" vs the 997 under hard cornering?
I wouldn't want that - I have very delicate knees thanks to motor-cycle accidents!!
First time I've heard about this...

Hello Ferdie,
In the prairies of Canada, ice driving in winterish months [[5 of 12 mths!] can be treacherous. Older ABS could find no traction, so the brake pedal went high and the brakes were off! Into neutral and parking brake...plus prayers.
I drove my 997.1 Carrera Manual & and Cayman S 987.1 Manual in winter on good weekends [at least every 2 weeks] which meant not snowing actively, or warmer than -20C. The modern ABS is smarter, and I usually had brakes, but used gears with very smooth downshifts for slowing down. Had no emergencies, but I drive VERY carefully in ice conditions, keepig AWAY from other cars AMAP. Turning off PSM is available in S or not, and does give more control.
Winter tires, the best you can buy, are essential. Trouble is that available 'winters' , and Porsche recommended, are only 'snows', with minimal ice adhesion. Ice tires would be much better is ice is frequent...but altho' I found 'Ice' tires from Bridgstone for the 997.1, now with the 991 there are ONLY snow tires avaiable...not great in sheet /black ice, but then nothing but studs or chains are really good.
Good Luck...don't lose your tail in ice/snow, as recovery is Tuffff!
