OT (a little) - just redid my garage
Just had to have a proper garage for the baby (the turbo) when it arrives in July so we had our garage done by a company called GarageTek. They did a great job and the floor was finished with their interlocking plastic tiles - I didn't get a checkered flag pattern - just a simple grey with black border.
Once I got this fancy garage, I found myself wanting to keep the floor clean. So I was brushing and mopping up the winter crud but then I found a neat way around the housework. I bought a robot. This company, IRobot, makes a little robot called the Scooba that brushes, washes and dries floors. Well it's fantastic - I just set the robot loose on the dirty garage floor and it cleans it up without me intervening. Funniest thing is to watch our dogs trying to figure out what part of the robot is the butt so they can sniff it. If anyone is interested I can post pictures of my new garage and its mechanical housekeeper.
(I have no affiliation with either GarageTek or IRobot - just wanted to pass along some info if anyone else is thinking about fancying up their garage)
