Thats just a 991 with the ducktail aero kit! Even so the fender looks wide - it might be the 4WD version!

Why Porsche should test their aerokit(which is already available) with a different brakes?

What strikes me as well is that the inner exhaust pipes are much cleaner than the oter ones... is this normal, or a sign of "fake" double pipes?

Here a pic from the 991 Cabrio presentation at our Porsche Centre this afternoon - look closely inside the right pipe...

So this is the Sport Exhaust, with the distinct interior lining.

So I still don't get it. Is there a gap between the inner exhaust tip and the exhaust pipe that is supposed to connect to it?

Hummm...I am not quite sure, since the tailpipes look like the Carreras S ones to me whereas the prototypes so far have tailpipes with same shape as Panamera Turbo. yes

There is also a gap in the 997.2 PSE, but in the outer pipes.

No big deal. It's probably just to de-couple components which are at different temperatures to eliminate stresses arising from different rates of expansion, or some such technical reason.

WOW! The Turbo will be awesome. The look of the front LED's looks promising and great that they seem to differ from the standard models.

Might be a new headlight as well. Does not look like the standard model with the lights turned on? Maybe with low-beam LEDs instead of Xenon

Just my two cents, but it looks like the 991 Turbos will feature an all-LED, slimmer rendition of the suspended rectangles found in the Panamera/Cayenne Turbos. If the air intake surrounding these lights is properly shaped, these lights will really pop out and look menacing on the streets!

Can't wait for the reveal. Looks to be sooner than we think with the camp slowly coming off.

Mules often have mis matched parts, but those brake discs are too small to be anything else than a Carrera.

If its the same as the sport exhaust in the 997, if I remmeber correctly the outer pipes only worked when the PSE was ON, so if you didn't use it much, eventually you would notice that the outer one would seem cleaner.

Is it an optical illusion or is that rear disc bigger than the front?

It would also explain the different coloured calipers. PCCB caliper at the rear, caliper for a conventional cast iron disc at the front.

you know, I briefly noticed that and tought it was so weird that I quickly dismissed it as my eyes playing tricks on mescrewloose.gif, and didn't give it a second look, but now that you mention it then its not my eyes, the size is really inversed and probably explained by the different PCCB vs iron used as you say  Smiley 26

I'm beginning to suspect that the gap is part of the audio tuning of the exhaust. Probably similar to how a whistle functions.

Smiley  That wouldn't be compatible with lean production methods, as each system would need to be "tuned" at the end of the assembly line or retuned by a workshop if the end-pipes have to be refitted for some reason.
