As off this month I'm leaving my M3 in a garage near the Nürburgring, that way I can drive there and back in comfort and the M3 can be made more dedicated, as it's track only from now on.
However, I don't know any workshops in the Nürburging-area, although I assume there must be lots of them.
Should anyone have a workshop to recommend, I'll be happy to hear it!

Last time I was there, I talked with "Rent-4-Ring" crew and they told me they can keep my car in their garage and can give service to me like changing brake pads, flushing brake fluid, changing tires and servicing basic stuff for every car. They may not be the best out there, I don't know, there are other people here who have more experience at the Ring, but this just gives you an idea.
What changes are you planning to make to the M3?

Hi,
The M3 is already heavily modified so I'm not looking for big changes anymore. A set of lightweight wheels, fresh Pagid brake pads and a more agressive front camber setup are most needed.
I have a location to store the car, but I might give these guys a ring to discuss their possibility to work on my car. Thanks for the advice!

The list is quite extensive, but not quite there yet:
I'm looking into a set of O.Z. Allegerita HLT-lightweight wheels and a Drexler 40%/60% differantial.

do you mind sharing the pictures of your M3, especially the interior and intake?
I thought I had a front strutbrace on my M3. There are iron bars attached between struts and the chassie

Wow, didn't realize you'd done so many things to her! Looks like a lovely track beast now. I live 60min from the NBR and I hereby offer to store it here. I'll even run her occasionally to ensure the brakes won't rust etc. You know cars really just need to be driven. Plus my brilliant red needs a bigger brother anyways.

Lol, BMW calls it British Racing Green, but I can live with Military Green as well... 
It's been a very good ownership experience with that car, it's been used very hard both as a daily driver and a track toy and it has never missed a beat. Dynamically though, an E36 M3 needs a lot of work to release its potential, in standard shape I felt it was heavy and completely lacked feel.

I don't think I would mind having it at your place, I know you'd take good care of it. 
The garage where it's headed is located 5km from the Nordschleife though, you can't argue with such a convenient location!
