Unfortunately I'm afraid my next Porsche will be a Cayenne Turbo.
My dear RC just two comments
1st - its a long way to go....
2ndt - could be worse, could be a Cayenne Diesel
1. Depends on stock markets and EUR weakness (I profit from a weaker EUR)
2. Never
The Cayenne GTS could be interesting too but after giving it some thought... If I have to pay a premium for a SUV which I actually don't want, at least I expect the best performance possible.

If Merkel caves in to France and there is this eurobonds then the weaker euro will happen!
She will cave in and the EUR will be weaker and there will be a certain stability on the markets for some time. Both would be very good for me, as weird as this may sound to somebody from Euroland.

I think C&D had achieved 2.9s with TTs and Autocar - 3.2s...
Don't have time to look for the links though...
Guys, don't mix up 0-60 times with 0-62 times. The difference is bigger than it looks, judging by the tiny 2 mph difference.
Btw: The best 0-100 kph time for the 997 Turbo (non-S) I've seen so far was 3.2 seconds. I think it has been achieved in the Sport Auto Supertest but that car was in a pretty good shape because 0-200 kph performance was 10.8 or 10.6 seconds, I don't remember anymore. It was pretty impressive though.

I have a V performance box and I register everytime 3.3 secs for the 0 to 100 kmh.
I only did once 3.2 secs when tyres were warm and sticky (conti tyres).

Not a fan of the ducktail on any late model Porsches.
This, however, is a beautiful ass!
Can't wait to see the Turbo Cab
It sure does look great, but not as good as this...
No argument though that the 991's front end looks far better than on the 997.
I don't know what's with you and 997 but 991 is years ahead in design department. Finally Porsche ''designed'' the car and this new direction with MM is bringing fans all around. I'm an architect so I deal and hang with people with a bit of a bonne art sensibility and everybody agrees.
Back to your comparison, the PS enhanced photo of 997 you showed here doesn't do justice to it and hides a big hump on the back when you look from the side and in this respect - the 991 with sleeker back end finally fixes that old mistake or design limitation. I don't say it's completely gone - but 80% has been tweaked.

I don't know, I just kind of prefer the "un-styled" look of the 997, and how simple it was. But, rest assured, Porsche did an astonishing job on the new 911. The front end especially. I think the 991 has one of the best looking front ends in history. It's just that some pictures make me kind of unsure about the rear. But, after seeing this picture, all of my doubts are erased. The whole car is just fantastic.

I agree completely. One design disappointment (flaw?) of the 996 and 997 cabriolet configuration was the "turtle-back" look from the rear 3/4 view. Everything else about those cars was very attractive and the "hump" seemed out of place with the rest of the lines of the car. The 991version looks much better.

No, Christian, not that view
What I'm talking about is the "hump" centered just aft of the trailing edge of the fabric top surround. It looked to me just like a squished version of the 356 cabriolet upper backside and quite out of place compared to the rest of the car.

Unfortunately I didn't find a photo of a nice blonde with a hump and a nice booty.
I understood very well what you mean but it is actually surprising that this "hump" is mainly visible on photos but when you look at the car live, it actually doesn't seem that way. Weird.

Maybe it is only visible in photos of the 991, but I was very aware of the "hump" on my wife's 996 Cab and 996TT Cab in real life. It looks so much different from the rear than the coupe.

+1. That "humpback" look has always put me off the 911 cab, but it looks like the 991 is a big improvement.

The last one about the humps ......here's a sexiest humps I've ever seen......
+1. Never gets a headache, doesn't get tired or moody, doesn't need a constant supply of clothing or jewellery, is always there for you when you need her, and you don't constantly have to tell her how much you love her (because she knows that already).
