We know (and reported and discussed) about the dramatic chassis changes for almost a year now...not sure what surprised you ?!

Christian,
he actually thinks about chassis geometry at that 991CS test car.
BUT, GTlover did not know apparently that Sport Auto crew alters chassis geometry on almost all cars that they use for Supertest. He forgot that Ferrari even sended special fuel to be used for 458 Supertest(actually, Ferrari sended entire support crew).

Hi Kreso,
Well, I dont want to go back on the subject as everything has already been said..but what you say now is quite a heavy claim towards Sport Auto..you mean Sport Auto will change the suspension setup by themselves? Why?
The contrary is true - Horst von der Saurma writes in the same issue of Sport Auto in the Editorial of page 5:.."Dass der von Porsche konfigurierte und in verantwortungsvolle Sport Auto Hände übergebene neue Elfer.."
I agree with you that Ferrari is also falsifying things - probably more than Porsche, I agree with you that Nissan has started this whole thing....lets not fight over these issues here..
But, relax, were just talking about a "car" here..you seem to get very nervous when even the slightest criticism is mentioned..we all make misakes, even Porsche sometimes..that changes nothing to the fact that the 991 is a good car.
Nobody is perfect..
take care,
Sport Auto always checks the setup settings to make sure that the specs are within manufacturer recommendations.
This also serves the purpose to make sure that manufacturers don't cheat with their setups.
Do you remember the first SL 55 AMG Auto, Motor und Sport tested ? I found out that this was a prototype/pre-production car and after I made my complaints public on the official AMG Club forum, I was kicked out of the club (I was a member because I owned the E 55 AMG at that time) because I demanded answers and they wouldn't provide any. Later on, AMS actually confirmed that they got the car much earlier from AMG (months before the official availability at dealers).

Where else have you been kicked out from RC, you must have taken a lot of kicking during your time....just kidding, I'm happy that you spoke up. About time these manufacturers stop fooling loyal customers
It was actually a pretty big deal for me because I loved to be part of that community.
Luckily, AMG (the company) itself was different, I have had some mods done on my E55 that were not have been possible without their goodwill and support.

Hi RC,
Yes, thanks for your insights..and Italo is fully right - manufacturers should stop fooling customers..probably all us cant do it with the clients - or business relations we have with other people - its time the automotive industry gets back to a trustable level - of course it depends on the manufacturers.
Your story about AMG ist really interesting - I would have done the same..I hope Porsche will not become like this..because if they do -its Game over for me then - as a loyal customer. I will just buy then classic Porsches..I mean everthing that was built before the "cheating started"..there are enough nice babies around..Carrera GT, 959.etc..but too expensive for me now.--.
