    Aventador Recall (February 2017)

    All models built between 2012 and 2017 are affected, including SV models and special editions.

    VIN number range ZHWEC1476CLA00091 to ZHWET3ZD1HLA05975.

    Over 5900 cars worldwide are affected, 1453 cars alone in the USA.

    A modified fuel tank ventilation will be installed, to prevent accidental ignition of fuel fumes, especially around the exhaust system (this happened mostly with aftermarket exhaust systems, some of you guys may remember the videos).

    What took them so long

    I'd be pissed if my car was one of those that caught fire, with or without an aftermarket exhaust crying

    They thought that only aftermarket exhaust equipped cars were affected, this is what took them so long. I think.
