    I argued for more sensuality from Porsche including more aggressive exhaust sound. I did laud Porsches engineering and build quality. Smiley

    Ferrari 458 ranked as 1st on Autocar's list followed by the mp4, R8 V10, lp570 and finally sls amg

     IMO driving enjoyment is derived from feeling TOTALLY connected to the car.  Not which car may be faster around a circuit or from 0-300kmh.

    I have yet to drive a turbo charged car which provides the same level of satisfaction as a NA one. Sounds like MB may have succeeded in raising the "turbo" bar - less lag/better throttle response and sound.

    In addition, while Driver Aids improve safety (and speed for most of us), they also disconnect you from what is really happening. Ferrari's 458 however, seems to have gotten it right while the 12C hasn't..

    While I'm not a big fan of the 458's styling, it is an emotionally exciting car.

    As are Porsche's CGT & GT3's.

    Would prefer a Zonda to a Bugatti anytime. But that's just my opinion.

    Have a listen to BMW's new K1600GT (6 cylinder) for exhaust nirvana. Good example of what NA has to offer.
