    I don't like it at all, unfortunately. Where is Mercedes Design heading to? Korean Japanese Chinese Style? I like the leather work though.

    Interesting since I am pretty much not impressed with new ML. BUT, my wife likes it and loves idea about 250 CDI engine.

    Not very big, but IMO the size of Q5  or X3 is enough for most families. Also the smaller SUVs require smaller engines and less fuel.

     I think Cayenne has the best interior for any 4x4 at the moment.

     

    dunno why anyone would buy this over the Cayenne or X5?

     this is really a disapointment, i was really expacting a good looking car, but is is just , and i am usually a mercedes fan. you can not evan compare thsi to a cayenne, not inside and not outside.

    this is the painfull truth

    Cayenne is overall much more expensive car then new ML(according to provisional German ML price list that I got). Also, most of the new ML sales will be diesel engines(specially small 250CDI).

    Personally, I would choose new ML 250 CDI as family SUV if my need for speed and power is satisfied differently(via true sportscar as second car). Mercedes idea was to target costumers that wanted something different then X5 or Cayenne. I would also choose Touareg V8 TDI over Cayenne S-but, that's me.

     What platform is this based on? The BMW X5 is based on the 5-series platform?

    Base ml is 2000 euros les expansive than base Cayenne. Ml 63 AMG will be with the Performance packige around 120 000 euros so aswell pretty close to the cayenne The car from the pic doesnt have AMG packige and wider weel arche are missing as well Hope orders can be placed for the 63 beginning of Next year

    The exterior is okay, but I like the interior.

     It seems to me like the rear lights should be 5cm higher, they look droopy.

    Not really a fan of the new M class but I really like our current ride in California...the GL450 4-matic. A bit too comfy for me but for speed limited regions and a large family, a really nice ride. According to rumors, the next gen GL class is going to be available as an AMG model too.
