You're welcome guys
@Rossi: yeah, the LFA really looks like a typical Japanese sports car. I just feel that, for that kind of dough, they should have come up with something that feels and looks a lot more exotic. Roughly £340k if I remember correctly ... that's a lot for a Lexus.
My wife came to the show today - it was very sunny and dry this morning so we had a 2 hour walk round - while most people were still in their offices - so it was really nice and quiet.
I liked the interior of the Mercedes S-Class. It's a nice place to be.
Personally, I liked the SLS AMG interior - it wasn't cramped and I had no difficulty exiting despite being 1.90m tall.
My wife likes the Mini ... she thinks it's still really cool ... she also likes the Mercedes SLK ...
We also sat inside the Jaguar XK-RS, XF-R and a few other Jags .... they're quite nice inside ...
We sat inside the Audi R8 Spyder - it's a great car but I don't like the interior - plenty of plastic buttons that feel cheap and that look like they're from an Audi A2. However, I did like the feel of the manual transmission - the 7 slots in the metal gate pattern felt great to operate.
Anyway, I took some more photos which I will post later this evening.
We were chatting with a guy from Lotus Cars GB about the Lotus Renault vs Team Lotus saga and about F1 generally. It was interesting.
Maybe I'm approaching middle-age but, of all the cars there, the one I loved by far the most was the Bentley Continental GT. That car is just the business. The quality of the interior is simply superb. When I get a little older, I might be tempted one day ... no wonder one sees this car everywhere ... is it a victim of its own success? Would you buy a Bentley Continental GT?
