That's great to hear - thanks
I expect it to be really close again between RBR, McLaren & Ferrari. I think the Ferrari package will be less disadvantaged at Monaco and Alonso is superb at that circuit so he will be right up there.
Both Button and Hamilton are strong there - I am not convinced about McLaren's traction out of slow corners - which is key at Monaco - I expect this is one area that RBR and Ferrari are stronger.
Overtaking will still be very difficult at Monaco - those physical limitations will always be there - but I think KERS will help a little. I'm not sure DRS will help that much - the start/finish straight isn't long enough to be able to make it count. It also depends on where the DRS activation zone will be - in Barcelona, IMvHO Charlie Whiting got it badly wrong - the late position of the DRS activation zone rendered DRS almost useless.
Qualification will be absolutely key to track position BUT IMHO, the biggest single factor will be tyre degradation. Pirelli is bringing soft and super soft compounds. I don't know how long the super soft tyres will last. I suspect we will see 4 stops as the norm: 4 stints on soft with 1 stint on super soft. Those teams that use an extra set of soft in qualification will pay dearly in the race: 3 stints on soft with 2 stints on super soft.
Still, this is just speculation on my part ;)
Hope you have a great weekend in Monaco and the Cote d'Azur :)
