no i had no chance to as all these cars are special order only. actually i had no chance to testdrive any of the cars i bought over the past ten years as i usually order before they are released to the market.however, with the cars that i usually order, its a pretty safe bet except for the cobra.
when the sls came out, it was the only car i wanted. i was not choosing between it and a 458 for example. hence, no need for a test-drive really.
then again, surely i would not mind having a dealer where i could go for test runs in all the cars i aspire.
then again, it's better to be able to order the cars without a test-drive than to be able to go for a test-drive and not be in a position to order
a last resort would have been to have test-drives arranged on my travels. but usually i cannot be bothered when travelling on a tight schedule.
I love the way it looks but i wasn't considering getting one till i drove it. I was blown away. I had a chance to drive my brother's SL Black Series it's a great car but I'd take the SLS any day over it.

well, it's not really stuck there. i prefer leaving it there for the moment. it's in the container which is a safe option for now. i guess in a month's time things will have settled enough to be able to clear it.

The Cobra is the most beautiful you have and most special one isn´t it? Pure collector car. What didn´t you like about it?

Not the best time to bring out such a beauty ........ I understand you want to play it smooth and safe. It is actually in the best possible place . I hope all will be better soon .

oh, it's great. it's just that i had absolutely no idea of how it would feel to drive. more thrilling than i could have ever imagined.

Not the greatest pics. In the flesh the car is far more impressive. It's a very different drive than a 911, that is fore sure. I will follow up with an SLS versus 911 review. They are not really in the same fighting class so to speak. I have read just about every SLS review there is and not many of them capture the car very well, based on a few days' worth of driving.
