This video is not new, we discussed it already on the official german M forum.
They forgot to turn off ESP completely on the X5 M and furthermore(even more important), the Cayenne Turbo was in a very very good shape (if you get my point)..or the X5 M was defective. The latter is actually the main reason why the Cayenne Turbo was ahead in the video.
In reality, the Cayenne Turbo was always (in all reviews I read so far) 0.1-0.4 seconds slower from 0-200 kph than the X5 M, which doesn't really mean much but it proves that the Cayenne Turbo can't be faster like in the video.
From 0-100 kph, the Cayenne Turbo and the X5 M are only at par when launch control is used on both cars. Otherwise, the X5 M jumps forward faster from standstill due to a more spontaneous setup and less turbo lag (as long as MDM Sport mode is active).
Look at the video when both cars start from standstill and you can see how fast the X5 M jumps forward.

Yes, the X5 M ESP kicks in pretty fast during extreme cornering, even with MDM Sport active.
People need to drive both to get a taste of the Cayenne Turbo and the X5 M. The Cayenne Turbo is a great SUV but I particularly find the X5 M more aggressive, not only regarding the engine setup but also regarding the auto tranny setup, which may even be too aggressive for some people. Set MDM active and to Sport mode and the gears are flying so fast, it is unbelievable. The 8-speed auto tranny on the Cayenne Turbo is more comfort oriented but still very fast. The engine in the X5 M is a treat, it revs like crazy and the turbo lag is barely noticeable but the Cayenne Turbo sounds better, more V8-like.
To be honest: If the Cayenne Turbo and the X5 M would have had the same price tag, I may have gone for the Cayenne (I'm a sucker for Porsche cars, well... 
) but with the same options and comparing lease offers, the X5 M was 35000 EUR cheaper than the Cayenne Turbo. Since this is my family car, well...do the math.
I would recommend the X5 M for those who need to keep a low profile and those who don't want to spend too much money for such a high performance SUV. If money doesn't really matter and/or if you badly want the Cayenne, go for it. It is a superb SUV.

Here in Australia the difference between the two in price is closer to 50,000 euro. ($67,000 AUD)
A Cayenne Turbo with the same/similar options like my X5 M would have been around 135000 EUR. My X5 M had a sticker price of aprox. 122000 EUR.
My local Porsche dealer offered me no rebate on the Cayenne Turbo (before it showed up, he wasn't able offer anything at that time of introduction because he didn't know yet how high the dealer margin would be), the lease offer from Porsche Financial was aprox. 30% higher than the one from BMW for the X5 M.
My local BMW dealer charged me only 99500 EUR for the X5 M, a huge rebate and the lease offer from BMW was also 30% cheaper than the one offered by Porsche Financial.
Meaning: I didn't only save on what the car itself costs but also on the lease too.
The total savings are in the 50000 EUR range (considering the 3 year lease period), I don't remember the exact numbers anymore.
This is huge money.

the cayenne 2 is really ugly. the x5m while a lot older looks much better imo.
I kind of got used to the look, especially the Turbo looks nice.
What I like a lot about the X5 M is the classic SUV look, most people can't imagine that much power in an old style SUV.
