Hi - new here

Hi

I've been checking out this place for a while and finally decided to introduce myself. I've had several Porsches over the years, ranging from a 912, numerous 911's, a Boxster, a Cayenne, and my current 996 Turbo (looking to upgrade soon).

Anyway, there is a lot of useful information to be found here, and hopefully I'll be able to contribute a little too. And I just love the pix of all of the cars here.

Welcome Keith, Are you from Canada? Even better, North or West Vancouver? Your display says northshore..?

Thanks for the welcomes everyone. I didn't know if I posted in the right place but it looks like I got lucky.

Nope, don't live in Canada. Actually, the Northshore04 comes from where I would like to buy a second place (the North Shore of Hawaii) and the year I made that decision (2004). I love kiteboarding and surfing and most of my relatives are in Hawaii, so it's pretty much a no brainer. I live in Los Angeles now though.

And I'll try and get some pics of my 02 turbo posted. It's Lapis blue and the only mods to it are putting Techart Formula 19's on it. I'd really like to upgrade to a 997 turbo or GT3 soon though.

Ha, so the ca is from California. Still on the the west coast Nice name to hang on to then, Hawaii is stunning.

I pretty much grew up in California. But as far as weather, water, waves, sun, etc., are concerned, nothing in the U.S. beats Hawaii.

Lapis exterior with Grey interior. Funny thing is, a little while later, my wife got a cayenne s with the exact same color scheme. I went to post pics yesterday, but realized that they were all in the old computer. I have to dig them out from some external hard drive - just have to find which one they are in.

Don't really know what color combo I'd pick for my next car. If it's going to be a gt3, you can't go wrong with the White/Black and black wheels though.

Not far. You might find Padre a little disappointing. I think you would find Baja both closer and more beautiful. Or the North Shore of Maui.
