If you can afford it, keep the CGT for a few years more, until you get a sense of its value. Years back I had a 904GTS that I sold because it was uncomfortable and I wanted a more streetable and powerful Porsche. Sold it for $80K, thought I was getting top dollar at the time. In one year, I could have gotten upwards of $800K. I don't miss the car, but I do miss the money. Think of the car as an investment for a while--see how the market develops. (One good measure of value is to check the number of CGTs in the U.S.--that will indicate your future market. You can bet the ones overseas are being gobbled up by investors, and won't be coming here).

Sorry to briefly wander off the real topic, but I didn't think that those chickees or the parking spot right next to the beach could be anywhere along Naples' seven miles of sand.
Coincidentally, I was at both Fort Myers Beach and Barefoot Beach you mentioned in your post to Enmanuael just a couple of weeks ago.
Today, it looks like I'm in the process of getting snowed in. Guess which one I prefer.

Nice pics!
I have a CGT and a Turbo S and think they compliment eachother really well.
I think the 918 will be a different beast all together.
The GT really was at the pinnable of its time and still today is amongst the best, gearbox is slow (bc it's a manual) but what a car.
Only problems are the tyres, Michelin has announced the Pilot supersport is replacing all pilot sport 2.
My feeling is it will transform the car. fingers crossed.
My advice is you should keep the car for a little while. I think you will notice that if you drive only the Turbo, you will miss the V10!

Hi Turbo S,
Easy_Rider and Futch are correct, it's GT Silver Metallic.
I'm a little ashamed to say I always loved the color but was too cheap to pay the premium for it so very glad it came on the car. Same with ceramic brakes.

Siver Carrera GT,
The Turbo S is a fantastic piece of kit, I am very happy, and very impressed, with mine. But at the end of the day, it is just a very very very fast 911, amongst all the other 911s.
There is, and ever will be, only one Carrera GT. I don't personnaly consider the 918 a successor to the GT. Which is why I will keep the GT when my 918 will arrive.

Hi Joost! Not sure what you mean by asking if I don't like older models. I like many models of Porsche, and currently have three--a 2009 Cayenne Turbo S, a fully restored 1961 356 Super 90 Roadster, and an original 1963 356 B coupe. Will probably keep the Cayenne for two or so more years, then jump into a 991 Turbo. Love that turbo blast!

Funny your Turbo S is silver and your CGT black. My cars are all the other way around. You should take a picture 
like I did and post it...that would be really cool.
Looking at the license plates of your cars, I am wondering where you live. Your black CGT shows British plates while your silver Turbo S shows German plates...I think?
I also have an order on the 918...I just don't know if I will actually take delivery of it.

Plates on the turbo S are temp french plates, now it's on UK plates like most of my cars.
I live between both countries.
They're both in France at the moment so will try to get a shot with both togethe, yeah, same as yours, opposite colors!
