I don't know if its true, but I heard that cabrio will have soft top, but BMW will offer folding hardtop roof as an option.
BMW Grand Coupe concept is very good preview for new 6 series. There is photoshop based on current spy photos and Grand Coupe concept:

I think it looks a bit to elegant and not mean enough!
The soft top is real, it will stay like that. In that trunk is no space for a hard top I would say!
I´m glad they opt for the soft top, that´s what a Cab should look like, I´m a big fun of soft top.
And I agree it doesn´t look mean enought, but I´m sure M division will take care of that, they love to PIMP their rides a bit

This may well be. But they are almost not in the market to buy these sport cars.
True but also a lot of buyers are not in the market for a car but for a brand, a social statute. for a lot of people a badge is the only thing that matters.

Today on the german Autobahn north of munich direction to the airport:
Yes, I know not that interesting pic of the new 6. We saw here tons of way less camouflaged 6 convertible.
But here we're at a speed limit of 120 km/h while wifie is playing with her iphone AND both the BMW driver and I are at approx. 180 km/h.
She shot the BMW only with her iPhone cam before I realized the situation.
Therefore the bad quality but a real snapshot..

and we know you were going above 120km/h.....your spoiler is out
