Re: Porsche 991 GT3 to include GT1 motorsport engine...

Strangely as it may seem to you given what happens in Romania I am working hard for my money; they don't fall from the sky. I am not daddy's boy (quite the opposite, I bought them a house and cars) and I also have NO connection with political parties or our country's local economics. Owning both a 911 and a Scuderia would mean stretching my resources too thin and I would perceive it anyway as a waste... which I don't like... (which by the way was the case for a while until I sold the 911). Also that experience made me feel like cheating on my girlfriend all the time When using the 911 I was thinking at Scuderia and the other way around. Well... I guess I rather have one good girl than many... different ones
PS Why insignificant town? Come on! Also the price you mention is way too low for a 2008 brand new one. Perhaps without any option. Just to give you an idea, if I remember correctly, only the painted stripes (the livery) was 10.000 euros....
What's wrong with being daddy's boy ? :) I presume most of the members of this forum are (at least the ones with the big toys :)). You are an exception. Generally speaking, the vast majority of supercar owners (who are generally between 21-35 years old) are daddy's boys, if you know what I mean. Because it is almost imposible, no matter how brilliant he is, for a regular young person to develop from scratch this hugely profitable business, that works so well that in just a few years he's a millionaire and can afford these kind of cars. Sure, there are exceptions, but you need to be nothing short of a genius in order to achieve that. That said, if I'm not too curious, what kind of business do you run, exactly ? Surely you must be a computer wizz-kid, who runs an antivirus company or something, am I mistaking ? :)
I meant galati is an insignifiant town compared to bucharest...:)
Regarding the scuderia, the resale price for a 2008 model is around 130000 without taxes (stripe included), just check mobile.de.
