I just saw this last night and was wondering if someone else was going to post it.
This is a pretty stupid show with maybe the worst writing in TV history, but I think some things are made amazingly clear. Their methods are nowhere near as exacting as (one presumes) some of the better magazines, but they do show real-world, every day repeatable performance - not a one-off, perfect conditions time.
That said, the Audi was never far off the Lexus, and in some cases ahead. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the price difference between the two something on the order of $200k?
The Lexus sure sounds the part though...
