I love the exterior looks very much and the quality of the interior materials looks good. The only thing that concerns me about the interior is the styling. It just looks a little bland and a little 'tame' for a car that looks so stylish and audacious on the outside. Just my 2 cents.

Maserati is no longer longer under Ferrari's control. It was moved out of the autonomous Ferrari group and placed together with Alfa Romeo within the Fiat Auto group some time ago under the control of Harald Wester. This may have a bearing on the future direction of the company and allow them to develop models Ferrari would have vetoed.
Sounds nice but Fiat is a huge kraken and I doubt that Mr. Wester can work against Ferrari. Don't forget that Ferrari is still supplying the technology and even some of the development for Maserati. I also think that putting Maserati into the same boat with Alfa Romeo is a huge mistake but time will tell.
Hmmm, this could be part of the preparations for the rumoured sale of the Ferrari company by Fiat.

I doubt Fiat will sell the F brand now that they are generating better profits. I would hate to see Ferrari up for sale, whoever buys it, i think it should stay fully Italian and as it is right now. Too much is at stake. It worked with Lambo, but Ferrari, i doubt it.
indeed shifting is ancient technology - so is a fuel burning engine.. I happen to like both :)

RC:Hopefully Maserati offers a delete option for the roll bar in the rear. Many people are interested in Maserati because of the additional space in the rear (kids, dogs, whatever).
I think, that if you don't choose the 4-point harness belts it doesn't have the rear bar for them, leaving some free space in the back.
I'm a sucker for configurators I'd have mine like this: Grigio Granito (not matte) and blue interior to make it more maserati traditional.
BTW, this is absolutely stunning config. I would do nothing different. Spot on.
