A meeting with a hero
I visited the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2-3-4 July (a report will follow), but I wanted to give this as a teaser.
A meeting with Mr. Andreas Preuninger.
It's one of the great things of the Festival of Speed, you get to meet the people and get to see the cars you'd never hope to meet and see.
I was looking around the GT2 RS, and I had some questions (why did it have 997.1 mirrors, was it because of the carbon front wings that the extensions look different than on the GT3 RS, ...), suddenly I noticed Mr. Preuninger arriving, and we got to talk, such a great guy, very down to earth and very much a petrolhead, very aware of the need for purity in the GT-models. The best man to have in charge of the GT-cars.
The day before I had a very good talk with someone from Porsche UK, we talked for almost an hour, the guy was amazed by the amount of 'secret' info (regarding GTS, 991, ...) I had just by browsing the internet , it was hilarious to see him trying to deny everything but on the other hand letting me know I was right. 
A great experience, and great to know there are some passionate guys at work at Porsche.
. What does A. Preuninger think of the GT2 then? I would go for the GT3, this is why I am asking.
