I think that having the first letter of your first name be the same as the first letter of your surname must be a prerequisite for becoming No1 at Porsche

Maybe Charlie Chaplin wasn't such a bad suggestion after all?

I think Car's title is very misleading and the way the article is written is to leave question marks.
In fact there has been a one change of CEO. WW doesn't count because he was ousted for the very well known reasons. Herr Macht's strengths are in production engineering and he will very logically lead the VW Group factories. Besides, the Michael Macht solution at PAG was an urgent one so as to leave no vacuum after WW's departure, and Macht was the most handy at the time to fill this gap.
As to the new alleged models, nothing could be outside the Porsche spirit because Porsche in its 60 year history tried many different things from tractors to VW-small engined cars to superfast sportcars etc. Porsche beauty is that it is not an one-dimensional bijou brand. My only requirement is whatever they decide to do to do it properly and differently to everybody else, and to be top in design and engineering quality.
Why not a small simpler mid-engined roadster a la Lotus Elise or a smaller SUV Coupe in the 959 Dakar spirit?
