It's going to be a l-o-n-g wait until Saturday The pics make the seatbelts look a bit pink but they are a perfect match for the red leather inserts. I love the red thumbgrips though I'm sure they won't be to everyones taste. My dealer says he'll take more pics tomorrow when the transit protection film has been removed.
I'm going to have fun driving it home on Saturday as the dealer is over 200 miles away from me so that'll be a nice little break in run

Great, great choice of options, the red seat insert does look as good as you mentioned previously!
Enjoy the car!
Agree this pictures really make it look nice, your interior with the red stripe, red belts and the red thumb grips is very sporty !! Congrats Lain, you must be in cloud 9 right now and post a lot of pics of the car once its back home.
tony2006:the screws on the base of the sports seat, are they for height adjustments?
They are indeed.
Three or four different height settings?
Can't be sure from that phototgraph.
Do they also allow for variation of seat squab tilt, e.g., by raising the front of the squab, but not the rear?
fritz
The screws in the base are for height adjustment as fritz says. They are effectively the same seats as the Scud. The rear can lift I think (there is a long slotted single adjustment track visible).
I had ordered the carbon fibre dash trim option but it's introduction was delayed when my car went into production. It would have looked great but it's saved me a small fortune by not having it so I'm not too concerned
Iain,
Your 458 is GORGEOUS
Enjoy it in good health. You'll have a great drive on Saturday
I'm also curious about your view on 458 vs. Scud.
Please keep us posted.
BTW, your interior looks fantastic, I loved the race seats, just fantastic

That explains it.
I couldn't be sure about the rear "holes" being a slot when looking at my monitor.
So the holes in front will define the height of the front of the seat squab, and the slots at the rear will provide some leeway for adjusting height and rake angle.

OMG.
Congratulations. Cannot wait to see it with its protective covering off. Same thing I've been saying since I got married to the wife actually, but it's still on.
