My car finally arrived at the dealership today, the train was 1 week late. Here is a few shots of it before going to PDI.

I think they will do the PDI tomorrow and install the black grill. I should have the car tomorrow afternoon the earliest but more than likely Wednesday or Thursday, just in time for my 1000km road trip.

Here is a close up shot of the new M wheel for X5/6M

It did look good in press photos, but close up in person I don't think I like it anymore, so I will keep waiting for my set of black 215s to come in later this month.

I love the leather dash in X5/X6 M; very classy yet very sportive

I didn't like the new wheels either; they look too busy.

Congrats ! i saw a black one in a dealership and its amazing. That 1000km road trip is going to be heaven for you on this.

OMG those rims are insanely beautiful!!!!

Congrats on the car, some kid already took the protective plastics off though, or has it been received?

those wheels are not M wheels. they are sports package wheels. M wheels have an M logo as on your car.

The detailing people were already prepping my car when arrived. My salesman forgot to tell them I want to see the car un-prep first. Intouch was partially correct, the new wheels is not M, but not part of a sports package either. They are from "BMW Performance". Standalone after sale option for the X5/6M and the regular X6. And thanks people. Can wait to officially join the X5/6M club in here.

Congratulations on your new car, I recently met one on the Autobahn at full blast. In that case, have to say, the exhaust sounded marvellous.

Would be undecided on the rims as well, any pictures of them mounted?

I think the Performance wheels look pretty good on the X6. Its busyness complements the X6's smooth exterior/slick shape very well. It is like wearing a slightly flashy Nike tennis shoe with your black top and short. I would take it over the M wheels that came with the X6M.

That new one is a bitch to clean, one of the reasons I decided to not have them.

I went for black 215 for the aggressiveness, with a black out grill. Plus the black wheels won't show brake dust

BMW pads produce the WORSE EVER dust problem for wheels. I just hate it when the front wheels is a different color than the rear.

Car finally home. I am an official X5/6M club member.

Here is a few quick shots of the cars

Colors probably doesn't come out right through the computer monitor, plus the weather wasn't too cooperating, was raining all morning but got a window of sunshine late in the afternoon around the time I took the car home.

They may all seems black but none of them is. The Porsche Midnight Blue ended up being the blue-est, then the Monarco Blue on the X5 and finally the Carbon Black on the X6M. 3 different shades of bluish black.

Very nice. Congratulations for your car parc....but , please, change those horrible looking orange side blinkers on all your cars and put the 'original' white ones. It will look so much better .

Only been a day, but I have to admit I like driving it around very much, it could very well be my daily driver, the turbo was for the last 4 years but with so much more room the X6M could very well unseat the turbo.

Can really go deep with the throttle yet because of the long break-in, but just hoofing it around town this morning I can say it's a much better car than the ML63 I had before, no body roll, power anywhere on the rev counter, nicer interior, etc. I thought i might miss the ML63 no now I have no regrets.

But boy does this thing drink petrol. Only put on 100km since delivery and 1/3 of the tank is gone, and I was still babying it.
