up to 300kmh in 28,9 secs seems realistic, make in real 31 secs, as gt2 is in real around 35 secs (porsche offical in 33 secs)
So my question, got the eninge just an electronic update with more boost and an other exaust to reach this 620 hp, as the enigne specs seems to be the same as actuel gt2 (3,6 liter)

Kjetil ordered his early last week, monday I think, today he got the production date. But this car is so crazy I really would like one myself. But then I guess I have to win in the lottery or something.
BTW, we were really thinking that this spring should be the last at Scuderia Hanseat, but Kjetil got 45 point and will be in the winners group next time. So there is a significant chance that we will attend even this fall. But I guess the new GT2RS will not have arrived by then....

Looks to me like the engine specs you can agive with the current gt2 as well. Change exhaust, diff cats and electronic updat should give you aswell around 620 hp.....
Does any body know how mutch boost the rs will have
IT will have modified VTGs also..... the regular GT2 VTGs will run about 600PS in "Porsche tune" and can be made to produce 620PS of air but knowing Porsche they will run a slightly larger compressor to give the 620PS some headroom (the bigger turbos effectively give cooler boosted air). Cats for sure will be freeer flowing and possibly different air tubes at this level....
Cargraphic/RS Tuning kit for real 635PS/826NM is big VTGs, air tubes, 100 cell cats, air filter and headers (which are probably not necessary) - intercoolers will "survive at this level. boost will be in the 1.5bar range which sounds high but is needed with the expansion manifold which has the effect of reducing the actual boost which enters the combustion chambers.
The 700NM is a bit disappointing, it shows that they haven't done anything internally to the engine.

Another interesting number is the new Cd of 0.34 compared to 0.32 of the original GT2. This gives a CdA of at least 0.7 (could be more as the front flared arches may increase the frontal area from original).
This is a big increase when you consider that the only visual aero differences are the front splitter and a 10mm "higher" spoiler lip !

Is this a typo or is the RS getting the folding GT2 seats and NOT the fixed back CGT seats
From The web presentation
Edit: There is a contradiction here - the web presentation has a section for the folding sport bucket seats with a pic and says the regular comfort sport seats are avcailable as an option yet many of the other pics clearly show the CGT fixed bucket seats in situ in the car !!!

Apologies if this is a bit nonsense in the excitement of the new awesome new RS but I want to post this somewhere for future reference.
Using the available data it shows the extra power absorbed by the aero drag of the RS compared to stock GT2 as speed rises so at 200mph the RS needs 407PS to drive it at that speed whereas the GT2 needs 385PS......

Its been, I don't know.... years! since a Porsche comertial doesn't put a smile in my face, they seemed like they were more oriented for attracting the poseur crowd than anything else, but this one..... !!!
Makes me happy to see were Porsche is going with the 911in the last years vs the 996 era. Heck they even convinced Nick and Clarkson!
Can't wait for the 991

This car is just amazing - great to see Porsche upping the bar with a big incremental step - who misses Wendelin Wiedeking now?
I agree. As much as some claim that these are the plans that were set during his time (which i doubt it) I'm glad that Porsche is back in the game. Many people were changing brands, me included.

45 points Very impressive . And you must be getting close to the 50 , no ?
Kjetil ''old'' Gt2 must of been the inspiration for Porsche to have the black front hood He makes the fashion
Looking forward to see you maybe in september..but I bad sad if the RS is not there yet
