White looks a lot better than white, it helps make the proportions more coherent al around the car. I've been seeing a lot of black cars around here but the only white one i saw really caught my eye.
You mean white lot better than black.
Black makes the rear 1/3 side view and the totally rear view too heavy IMO because the various lines, that alleviate the already heavy design, are hidden by the dark hue.
Best colours for Panamera are the light colours. White or Silver.

Look on this light coloured Panamera, how on the heavy rear 1/3 of the car, the greater visibility of the lines and curves and play of light , flatter the shape.
On a dark-coloured Panamera, everything at the back would look like a heavy shapeless block.

reginos . Lately I've seen several white Panamera (white is very popular in Dubai) and they look fantastic - you can really see all the curves and how they flow nicely and smoothly all over . In real and in light colors , Panamera is true revelation - specially on the rear .
The other problem is the option for tinted rear glases (privacy glas option). Without this option the silhouette is much sharper and the back isn´t so huge.
