Unfortunately, not looking at it will not prevent one of these drivers from ramming in to an innocent bystander because he was concentrating on racing rather than on being safe (being safe does not have to mean being slow).
If there are no other cars, I don't have a problem with it. It's when I see two cars RACING on the street and they have to change lanes to avoid TRAFFIC that I have a problem with it. This is what is happening here. What is to say that the other cars will not move over and get in the way?
All I am saying is that you can never know what is in another driver's head so you better be able to plan a couple of steps ahead. If you are racing with someone, it's pretty hard to also be concentrating on all the other drivers as well.
Slow In, Fast Out

you guys will not change the world with this kind of words..
if you enter here just to criticize the topic SO DONT LOOK IT.
the topic is, the NEW PDK IS HOLY FAST in straight, and probably showing that it will not be slower than the 997TT.1 after 200km/h...
and that is what the video is showing to us.
xandi, one last try:
A) There is nothing wrong with the topic; it is a legitimate quest. Unfortunately the video is testing this in a dangerous environment
B) We can try to change the "world" with words OR wait until enough needless accidents happen that the authorities change the world for us. We / you migh not like the outcome... Remember when Lewis Hamilton's car was impounded for a harmless burnout in Australia? This was part of a crackdown caused by unnaceptalbe behaviour on public roads
C) As "enlightened" sports car enthusiasts, we should be able to see the difference
D) I have no concerns that anyone on here is capable of doing the right thing and of staying safe. It is everyone else that we should be worried about. Can you picture someone (my parents, yours) driving at or close to the speed limit in the middle lane and seeing two super cars comming at them from behind at high speed? Then, to get out of the way, they move over to the right lane but the driver of one of the speeding cars has the same idea and moves in to the same lane... One space is now occupied by two cars; not a good thing
Rennteam should not condone this kind of behaviour...

Agreed.
