    That´s Marco Holzer who obviously drove the Hybrid car last Saturday with Bernhard.

    First VLN race this season [SportAuto summary] with Manthey´s GT3R (Bernhard, Lieb, Tiemann) finishing 1st. The GT3 Hybrid finished on 6th position overall. Top10 were within one lap, difference between 1st and 2nd only 14 seconds, 1st to 10th 7:06 min.

    I like the look of this hybrid especially the air intakes behind the doors. Much better than those on the Turbo/GT2. I hope they make it to the new 991 model.

    You might refer to the Tesla Roadster by Brabus. Smiley

    I am really looking forward to this car in VLN and 24h this year, if one considers that the driven front wheels should improve both tire wear and gas consumption, this car could be a promising candidate for the podium. I predict 3rd place in 24h overall. Smiley

    Lol Eric! don't forget it has a normal engine as well. If I recall correctly, the "hybrid" part is only the electric motors on the front wheels used for  boost... The dragons are there all the time though :)

    It did finish in the 3rd place in its second VLN race,though its lap time was significantly slower than those unhybrid GT3s and Audis' .

    Following the impressive performance at the Nürburgring 24-hour race where the Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid demonstrated the potential of its groundbreaking technology over 22 hours and 15 minutes, and led the overall classification for more than eight hours, the orange and white liveried 911 racer will now travel to the USA and Asia. 

    Porsche has received an invitation to contest the season finale of the American Le Mans Series, the race series featuring the world's fastest sport cars, at the 'Petit Le Mans' at Road Atlanta on October 2. The race runs over a distance of 1,000 miles or a maximum of ten hours.

    GT3-R Hybrid was 6th overall at the 1000kms of Zhuhai (China) today, ahead of all GT2 cars by at least 3 laps!
