    Re: 100,000Km!

    That's fantastic Carlos!

So great to see you putting your car to such good use

Proof that a 911 is built to perform day in day out doing high mileages as a matter of routine  And giving so much pleasure in the process

Wishing you many more happy miles

    Thanks a lot Easy!

and a part of that enjoyment on the CarreraS model is the -20mm sport suspensions and the PSE as I'm sure you would agree

    Re: 100,000Km!

    That is excellent! Congratulations!

How is the car from a wear perspective? I bet like new.

    Re: 100,000Km!

Congratulations !!!   I remember your car from the beginning ..... So you do about 20'000 km a year, a good average... the 911 is the best daily sports car on the market

    Re: 100,000Km!

I sold my Boxster with 100.000kms and after almost daily use and it was as new in all respects. The new owner has put another 15.000kms so far and the car is still perfect with minimal costs. The car is now 10 years old.

Try doing that in a sports car that is not from Germany and we talk again.

It's not where you're going, it's how you get there that counts

    Re: 100,000Km!

My 964 is 19 years old, has 191,500km on the clock and I drive it basically on a daily basis (at least right now) and I enjoy every minute. After all those years the car still feels rock solid.

This weekend I drove a 1973 2.4l S and it was a great experience. The car is still fast, very light, revving-up freely ... bottom line 110% pleasure.

Gracias Mikla! we have some great mountain roads to have fun and low traffic highways for confortable cursing, the 911 is an absolute joy here Smiley Also there is no negative attitude towards such cars, I can drive it anywere without worrying about what people say or think, thast very important too for a daily driver.

X2! Smiley I don't think I would be so worry free on using it as high milage a daily driver on another Sportcar "of the same level" of sportiness as the 911. And I had the same experience with my previous 996 as well.

Couldn't agree more Reginos. And that is what I need for me personally, I want to be able to enjoy sporctars everyday and not have to drive a sedan on weekdeays and only be able to grab the sportcar on the weekends or in summer. Thats not to say that I wouldn't like a GT3RS for the weekends as well though Smiley but I would still drive a 911 on weekdays Smiley

Its unblelievable how many air-colled 911 you still see on the roads, they are built like rocks, and most importantly can still be driven as "sportcars" (and not delicate classics for a sunny Sunday afternoon) for the enjoyment of their drivers.

Nice timing on that pic. You should be able to get another few 100,000 out of the car.

That is one of the many reasons the 911 is such a wonderful sportscar. I'm glad to hear that you understand the pleasures that come from really using her.
