Conny997:
Your opinions and recommendations are very helpful. And yes, at least I will go with a kind of black and of course it might be an alternative to go with meteorgrey again. (Thanks for the suggestion Kreso).
Yesterday I met my dealer and shot a pic of "darkolive metalic" on an 997 cab.
Not that bad I think. The overall impression is like a deep and shiny black (more than basalt black).
Only under sunny conditions one can see partly a slightly darkgreen shine. Her's a sample
To be honest, from this pic I can't really tell the difference between this olive and plain black.

Uh, Rossi, you do know that this isn't one of Misha's Panamera photoshops, right?

i only see a black gt2 in the first pic
Yes and thats basalt.
In the direct comparison y'll see a deeper black on the cab vs. the GT2
Agree with Nick about white. Had a midnight blue 996tt and loved it in the morning and evening. During the day it always looked hot and dirt was easy to spot and irritate. Then bought a white Carrera S and got more nice comments in one day on the color than I did in all the years I owned the tt. White always looks fresh and attractive (assuming you keep it clean), and is highly visible. And if you doubt its sportiness, think of all the race cars that are white underneath all the adverts, numbers, etc.
The only concern with white is what interior color works best. Black is typical, but a bit unimaginative. I would go with dark grey, cocoa or carrera red.
This cream white is very nice on the "new Beetle" that girls drive but for a Porsche IMO is not suitable. Unless, it is a Carrera cabrio to be driven exclusively by a woman.

And a s Turbo S should never be driven exclusively by a woman.

Should never be driven by a woman, full stop!

It seems like all videos from Europe are done in the rain or the roads are wet.
Nick, considering the weather, we had one of the worst months of May most people can think of. Cold, grey and rainy all the time, not exactly what you want when driving a sports car.
