^ Yes that's the spectacle that is Lauterbrunnen. Interestingly enough, what it reminds me most of is Yosemite, a place I also love (and visit frequently for camping). Yosemite looks very much like Lauterbrunnen -- both were created by glacier movement, hence the U-shaped valley -- except for the cows and the snow.
I found Switzerland to be unbelievably beautiful scenically. Sort of like the Amalfi coast or Santorini without the ocean. LOL.
The other pic is of course Amsterdam's red light district. I was there strictly for photography topics; just felt like taking pictures of bicycles in the red light district that day. Honest. At 6 am in the pouring rain (that's how nutty a photographer I am) there was only one "shop" open anyway.
