Do you notice the center down-step on the roof?

That might give a little more helmet room for driver and passenger. I wonder what they'd do with the sunroof though...

Maybe they're placing two bumps on the roof due to advanced aerodynamics and going down the same route as Ferrari (F450 spy-shots suggests this) and others

The "twin roof bumps" is a signature design trait from Zagato dating back to the 1950's....

Notice the attempt to conceal air vents on the rear bumper (near corners)? I seem to recall this being done on the GT3 recently.

Also, is it just my eyes, or is there no back seat?

I am not sure that this is a 911.

My feeling is that this is not a 991 test mule. To me it looks like a 997.2 special edition like RS (not GT3) or America. If you notice the little fin (mini spoiler) above the rear window is missing.

Ron , here my thoughts : I believe it's a 991 test mule ( we know that 991 will have active aerodynamics )

That would be extremely annoying in your rear view mirror if you were varying your speed between 80 and 50 a lot (as per a motorway with traffic).

Well, at speed the wiper doesn't really serve a purpose and in winter the heated rear windshield works very well - therefore, I look forward to the active aerodynamics as the rear wiper would not be optioned.

What do you guys think is under the black tape with the 3 holes on the rear bumper? Slats like the Turbo's, GT2's, etc?

If so, then this may not be a regular 991/8, since the previous Carrera's and C2's didn't have them.

For me it is more interesting the fact that this car has two rounded exhaust that are not present in neither of the other 997 versions. So I think the first indication is that this has a different engine. About the top camo IMO is nothing more than camo tho make you look away fromt the real changes. The most probable is just an open rear window, like a hatch. But any other aerodinamic moving piece on the existing car it will be very costly and will have no real benefit on the current car. And this one it is not a mule for the next 991.

Yup, me! If they do come with a design like this... I don't know. Porsche has always been known among the fans for their evolution rather than revolution. If they start copying asian design curves (no offense intended), I personally do not see that as a good thing.

Likes: rear bumper, rear tail lights, rear lower valence panel

Dislikes: location of rear view door mirrors, gaping front grill, wide C-pillar, bulky Panamera engine lid.

I do hope that this is not the final rendition, though I read here a post from RC that the rear end was VERY close to actual final design.

The front spoiler looks ugly ( it's like the new Cayenne )

The side looks great and the whole body looks good.

I don't know if the back is a good idea ( to go with angles) It does not look bad...but it' s not very 911 ish
