    No British Grand Prix in 2010 at Donington Park

    It seems that there will be no British Grand Prix at Donington Park in 2010. Perhaps Silverstone will be allowed to step in instead:

    It's also very doubtful that Silverstone will be able to compete with new circuits around the world.  If that proves to be the case then there will be no British Grand Prix in 2010 for the first time since 1948...

    It's all about money - the BRDC may not be able to raise the USD 100 million it costs to host a race plus Silverstone needs to carry out various upgrades before they win the rights again.
