The styling changes are too subtle for me to appreciate. The roof contours do not look anything like those of my Cab, and suggest a cloth covering on a metal structure underneath. The extended length of the new car would allow for more seat space in the coupe and stowage space for a hard top on the cab.

You can see he three sections of a folding hardtop. The shape is also very similar to other folding hardtops... I'd bet some money that we will see a folding hardtop in the new model. Not great in terms of handling, as you have additional weight in the wrong place, but who knows, Porsche can always surprise us.

I wonder what a folding hardtop would do to the Targa.
Make it obsolete?
Isnt the Targa obsolet anyway.
No - just kidding. I think a Targa always have the right to be there. Lets face it, the only reason go for a Coupe instead of the Targa is the heavy weight and if you want to be on the circuit the risk of having a glass roof above you in case of an accident. But for private drivers, not having problems with the head-weight.... the Targa is the right car! And if you prefer a bit more wind, go for a Convertible.
