Hi guys, dreamcar (plus his wife), Kinrara, wtsnet & I (plus my wife) met for lunch today at The Kennels in Goodwood. I just wanted to share a few photos from today...

After our photo shoot, Kinrara, dreamcar (plus his wife) and I (plus my wife) went for a 1 hour drive from Goodwood via the South Downs and Petersfield to Winchester. (Unfortunately wtsnet had to leave at this point). We had a great drive especially driving along winding roads over which there were beautiful tree canopies. It was very scenic

My personal thanks go to dreamcar for arranging for us to get together (since he has membership of The Kennels) and also to Kinrara for suggesting such a delightful route for our post-prandial drive.

It was great to meet old friends again and to meet others whom I have known through Rennteam but whom I have never actually met in person. We in fact enjoyed our lunch for much longer than planned since our conversation over lunch was so absorbing and fun. It's always great to meet others who share the same passion for Porsche cars Thanks for your charming company today guys Smiley

Thanks to DC for allowing us to make use of his membership at the Kennels. Food, service and atmosphere were excellent. The company was great too, and it has to be said that it is always nice to put some more faces to the screen names. Sorry not to join you for the post dinner drive. I had quite a blast on the way back, driving with the roof down into the setting sun, and playing with an (Audi) TT on the M27 before having to take a break to put the roof up as it got darker and rainier on the A36 back to Bath, cursing that I wished I had cleaned and put rain repellant on the windscreen earlier. Just broke 50k miles on the way back, so maybe I should detail the car properly to celebrate! I did feel a little like the unwashed cousin from the country in the company of the rest of the gangs spotless shiny cars, but then mine is used every day and has to suffer the indignaty of being left outside in the elements, a target for gulls and a comfy soft pillow for the neighbour's cat! Thanks for posting the pics Easy, and I look forward to reading your thread on your driver training session! Cheers!
