    2009 Singapore F1 Grand Prix

I wonder who will win the second Singapore F1 GP race this weekend? Brawn seems to have re-discovered its speed but which driver, Button or Barrichello, will emerge as the Brawn driver with the better chance of winning the title? Button has more points but Barrichello has the momentum... Smiley

It's a great shame that the inaugural Singapore Grand Prix last year was tainted by the unethical and dishonest strategy of Briatore and Symonds to manipulate the result of the race by deliberately agreeing with Nelson Piquet Jnr to crash so that a safety car would be deployed with Alonso having already done his pitstop Smiley

Unfortunately, having got the resignations of Briatore and Symonds, the FIA has given Renault a derisory punishment:

I'm looking forward to the race though since I believe the night race at Singapore is a magnificent spectacle to watch Smiley Unfortunately, F1 teams (such as McLaren and Renault with their espionage and corruption cases) and Max Mosley (with his sordid spanking lifestyle) have been doing their best over the past few years to make fans switch off their TV sets Smiley

Hmm i wonder what Renault fans have to say.......................... It's pretty sad and Alonso has at least one certain race win that he did not deserve in the least.

I'll be behind my TV for the race... goooo VETTEL!!!

Will Kimi Raikkonen be driving for Ferrari in 2010? Looks a little less likely after this Ferrari statement:

Guys, Alonso will be in Ferrari next year, its a done deal. Emilio Botin (Banco Santander president) in the last GP after making offcial the sponsorship of Ferrari next year already hinted at it very clearly that it will be announced soon, and Motezemolo in a press conference yesterday in Spain said that very soon they will make an important anouncent when asked about Alonso running in Ferrari next year.

I will be cheering Vettel on too!

His championship bid could have looked a lot different if he didn't have so many mechanical issues. I'm sure he will be docked a few ten grid penalties for changing his lump.

Safe to assume Stephano Domecali will be the next team principle to be forced out of F1 by a scandal?

Hilarious, maybe he was so scared to crash at "Piquet corner", that he actually did.

Re: 2009 Singapore F1 Grand Prix

Anyone know where Vettel was speeding exactly? Inside the pit lane or at the entry?

Re: 2009 Singapore F1 Grand Prix

Same here, I completely missed it, was he too eager to get out or to fast on his way in (indeed both is speeding but would be nice to know.

Great drives by Hamilton, Alonso and Glock

I'm glad Button outshone Barrichello yesterday. Hopefully he will now have some momentum to win the Drivers' Championship.
