Wholy sh*t!!! That rear is really REALLY ugly! Looks like it was designed by the same guy who did the 997 turbo: too many slats, shaps, additions, and a generally confused design line... Shouldn't there be some consistency in the lines of a car? :P

Better, but only marginally. This car seems to suffer from the slttiness that we 've seen on too many cars nowadays. The general shape is awesome, and some of the details are really beautiful, but overall... there's just too many details! :P

Disagree here. At least from the pics we know right now, the 458 looks perfect to me. Yes, it has many details, but they all go together well IMO and that's what makes this car different to other recent designs of Ferrari.
