They should just employ you to design all future exotic cars I've liked every single one of your concept renderings thus far. I think that looks fantastic! Job well done!

    Re: Bugatti Venom

Not a fan of those wheels, but the rest looks awesome, esp the headlights Smiley Love the back too! Nice work

    Re: Bugatti Venom

Cooling and downforce will obviously not be problems with this car.

I'm so so about the wheels and think the front corner air intakes are just a bit too large and out of proportion (go down about 25%), but other than that I like the rest of the design.

Oh, and have you ever considered designing aftermarket body kits?

You really should. Especially if you know how to design in Solid Works or any other kind of Industrial Design software.

    Re: Bugatti Venom

Wow that looks amazing, if that front ever made it to production it would certainly be the most impressive car on the road. many congrats great work.

+1 !! in my honest opinion you would be an authority in aftermarket or tunning if you could get some of your designs on a more solid presentation. maybe start off with a couple 3D works.

impressive work! congratulations!! you got a lot of talent! i love it, it looks perfect

    Thanks a lot gents’! Smiley

Truthfully, the thought of creating aftermarket kits has crossed my mind before, but I haven't really elaborated much in that area.

As a designer, my goal is to leave a mark creating something fresh, something that will attract and reach out to people; even those that are not car enthusiasts. Many of you here may recall the early days of when I started out doing chops to existing cars with the assistance of fellow peers and wonderful rennteam community. Cheers to that! Smiley

Recently, I've been so caught up in sharpening my skills in Photoshop that I haven't really had much time to branch off into anything technical like 3D design. It’s definitely something I am looking forward to taking up in the near future.

For those who enjoy mods, last fall I've had the honour of  taking part in, and winning, an Italian automotive design completion (Berman S.P.A. "autostyle") primarily based on the development of high-end aftermarket body kits for a variety of European automotive brands; mine being the Maserati GranTurismo. (Attached below)

Once again, cheers to all for the awesome feedback!

    Re: Bugatti Venom

^^^There's nothing wrong with creating fresh, original designs. That's what every artist strives to do.

But on the flip side, there's no shame in enhancing, modifying, and reshaping what's already there.

In the past, this sort of work was called Custom Coachwork. The P4/P5 is a great example of this ... of course it's god smackingly expensive to do this with today's modern unibody cars.

And that's why there exists a market for aftermarket body kits. Everything from a mild set of rocker panels and front valance  to an all out wild Gembella style wide-body kits (or even some of the crazier stuff coming out of Japan).

So with that said - seriously, I think you should shop some of your ideas around. I really think someone would take your designs and convert them to 3D Cad/Cam design if you can't.

Remember, designers are really just inventors with really good problem solving and presentation skills.

    Re: Bugatti Venom

design wise .. its an art , veeeery detailed , you are realy creative  , BUT ... it will not reach 400 km/h ... the wind tunnel is the designers nightmare

    Re: Bugatti Venom

Absolutely georgeous design - but as Turbo S stated - i recall to have read that Bugatti has spend Huge money

on aerodynamics to reach 400 km/h - they had a barrier at 380 or so and eighter needed another 400hp or

massively focus on aerodynamics - which they did. Guess "form follows function" applies probably most on the Veyron...

Nevertheless you should consult lots of tuners - great work !

    Re: Bugatti Venom

Great job! Looks amazing and much better as the Veyron itself! Maybe you can find a tuner buying that design from you?

    Re: Bugatti Venom

    Vlad,

I do appreciate the effort you put into it and really do like your graphical skills as I see them as one of your strong points, however...

... all elements that have been altered on the above images distract the car further from the brand Bugatti. If that was your intention, you fulfilled it but I doubt that such a strong brand as Bugatti needs anything like it. Admittedly, the Veyron is not the best model to start with, considering its design.

Something else that struck my eye is the lacking transition to 3D, as some mentioned above, which will certainly challenge you as some elements might look good in 2D but will need quite some adjustments when transferred onto a real object.

After all, keep up the good work! Curious to see the next one coming... Smiley
