Is the F450 confirmed to be smaller than F430 (4512mm in length) and 360 modena (4477mm in length)? The F355 is much shorter at 4250mm....
Confirmed no AFAIK. Everyone is specualting that the new car will be a tad smaller than the F430. Although you can't really tell from the spy pics, at least the fake panels from the F430 suggest that what lies beneath them is a bit more compact. But of course that could be an illusion. I guess we have to wait for the final specs.
The secret of life is to admire without desiring.
By eye, I can tell the F450 will be smaller than the F430 and 360 but not quite as small as the 355.
I think Ferrari had mentioned somewhere that "smaller and lighter" was the direction they wanted to start going back in with their sportscars. The Mille concept was the first glimpse.
Ferrari was having a middle aged spread problem though. Next to say a Porsche or Gallardo, the F430 looked like a sedan.

I´ve overworked the body... It´s a new try based on the last spy shots....
My friend Ingegnere: What do you think about this (after your perfect sketches)?
Farina that is stunning !! if the proportions are like those then the car will be perfect. i like the front design. thats the only part that really concerns me at this point, i hope they dont mess up the front.

I could only hope the finished product would look like that!
That would be the perfect blend of the Enzo and 360/430.
Something tells me though, I'm really going to be disappointed with the styling when it's released. I can already see the greenhouse is too upright and large

Please look at he following pictures i´ve taken from a spyshot and from the crashed car...
Picture 1: I´ve marked the position and you can see NO air intake!
Picture2: This is the original crashed car.
Picure 3: I´ve copied the body part from picture 1 and put it into the crashed car...
Waht did you now see? NO AIR INTAKE but air intakes in the little windows and the back (hidden)!

We know just about everything important regarding the 430 replacement. NA between 550-580hp direct injection. DCT CS brakes. Styling; rear similar to 599 and CA GT . Exhaust mid-center of the rear. Front lights curved toward center with day time LEDS. Side silhouette very similar to 430 and Scud. Price around $250,000.
Performance on par if not marginally faster than the Scud.
Need any more info?
Yes. Can I order one if I have never bought a Ferrari before?
Sadly, this car is in high demand and existing Ferrari customers will have priority. Since it will be limited production, the chances of a first time Ferrari buyer getting one at MSRP are almost nil.
Agree.

Farina,
I saw real product on official pics. I can tell you just this-"your" F450 looks better. Some design details on final product are not usual and as soon as official pics are out we will have pretty long debate here about F450 desing and specially about some of it technical aspect...

That's the point! Who wants usual design details on a ferrari? :))

Nice photoshop on #3 farina. That's what I showed on my sketch (blow up below). Also, the top of the horizontal crease line near the bottom of the door continues forward to the front lower bumper.
Opening behind window is most likely air feed to engine.
The other opening at the back is in the valley where the rear fender dips while the rear deck is Enzo-like flat. The winter testing cars had electric fans back there, probably for air bleed into the wake to reduce drag (as described in the "Technical Innovations" document presented at the time of the Millechili presentation).

I don´t want to dream and create any more: here is that what i know for sure...
^^Nah............. yuck.
I still like the drawing version below so much more....
I wonder if people will be calling up Pinafarina to do custom coachwork a la Glickenhaus

kresof1 hou is the teasers ?
First of all I am NOT working for Ferrari. Second, teasers were supposed to be released today officially by Ferrari, there is written memo to Ferrari importers about it. So, blame is on Ferrari. If we do not see the teasers pretty soon...
