    Color of my 997 4S PDK

    Would you choose nachtblau or  atlasgrey for the 997!

    The new X51 how fast is it .

    Both nice colors but you see a lot more grey here - so i would choose the blue.

    X51 - as usual totally overpriced - but 408 PS sounds certainly better than 385 or so....

    i would go for atlas anytime. it's a more aggressive color.

    IMO dark blue is too "luxury colour" for a 997.

    I would be tempted to go for X51 if it was available for MY09. It is a very pricey extra with little on paper advantage but better performance and feel on the road. However, with X51 aren't you nearer the turbo price? IMO X51 makes more sense if you strictly want 2WD. With 4WD get a Turbo.

    I agree. A Carrera 4S with most of the options + X51, the price will be too close to Turbo.

    For my taste a Porsche should in the range from Black to Silver with the various shades of Grey (like Seal, GT, Meteor, Atlas and Basalt) in between.

    OK,  White looks good on the new Porsches and is in fashion again but I would like the classic Grand Prix White to be back instead of the Carrara White.

    My car is atlas grey, I cant count anymore how many people asked me what color it is because they liked it! Its a superb color and very outstanding! Blue, black, grey - you can see anything in it!

    Just picked up a midnight blue/sand beige 2009 C4S.  Previously had a seal gray/black C4.  Seems like all the Porsches were some shade of silver/gray/black over black.  Wife and fashion conscious daughters said silver/gray/black was too common and BORING.  They wanted ruby/aqua/midnight.  I was outnumbered 3:1 :-)  Love the midnight over sand beige now!

    Was not on stock,  The  car was already ordered for the porsche dealer  and we just change the configuration. Three months waiting is normal.

    Wow, that must be an amazing color combo, very exclusive and charming for sure, PLEASE, post pics of your car when you get it. I choose metalic black /sand beige with full leather. I order my car in 19 May and it will be deliver at 6 August according to my dealer. When did you order yours? Thanks in advance.

    Can't take pictures yet.  At 200 miles, the check engine light came on.  Car is now at the dealer awaiting a new "valve solenoid" to arrive and be installed.  They gave me a new Cayman S with 9 miles on it as a loaner Smiley

    Isn't basalt black the only metallic black? The other black is normal, flat black.
