My Mini versus Ford Focus ST
Had a run last night with a friend of mine's Focus ST. For the people in Europe, I'm sure you're familiar with the Focus and it's capabilities. I must say I'm very impressed with my little 1600.

Ford europe have lost the plot, cars are bigger, the engines are bigger, the styling is trash, from behind the focuses just look like bottle banks
If i was buying a new car, i'd only touch the vw's, the rest are trash, with porsche, ferrari and the top end marques being exempt..
Not disimilair to above

The looks may be controversial and ugly, but this RS is certainly one of the best, if not the best, small cheap sports car of the moment. And the engine sound is absolutely amazing !!
I'd wish some manufacturer would build some sort of Lancia Delta HF Integrale successor. Europeans probably know what I'm talking about.
A Mini Cooper S with 4WD, a turbo charged 300 HP engine at a maximum weight of 1300 kg and at a very attractive price tag...a dream come true.
Somebody working at BMW Munich suggested that such a Mini may come sooner or later but til now, I haven't seen anything.
The new Ford Focus RS is the hell of the car for its price tag in my opinion, I just wish Ford would use a less "aggressive" design for it but maybe this is what potential customers want?!
Btw: I'm also waiting for a stripped down version of the Cayman S, I always wondered why Porsche doesn't offer some sort of "naked" Cayman RS for a certain group of customers at a reduced price. It wouldn't even need ANY engine/gearbox mods, it would be sufficient to strip it down by at least 100 kg and offer a modified suspension/chassis setup.
