Breathtakingly ugly but if they can shift cars as hideous as the 1 series hatch then they'll have no trouble selling this. The upright glass house makes the car look like some form of mutated Fiat Multipla that's been forced to reproduce with an X6

I just can't believe that BMW wants to put something THAT ugly on the market. They just recovered from Bangleitis and now THIS?! 
What the heck is going on with car manufacturers and "rear sides"? First the BMW X6, then even worse the Panamera and now the 5 GT? Ouch.

That is panamera's equally ugly sister. It looks like a scrap from the panamera design teams trash bucket.
All management all over the globe is under a spell to eff up everything.
that being said the interior is very nice. put this interior in the concept i posted a while ago and you have a winner.

you need to add a " vomit " animated "Smiley " ASAP.
I predict it will be the most used one for this and many coming car designs , I'm afraid .
Did you know you can add your own smileys? Just go to MyRennteam -> Uploads, upload one and click on the gray smiley in the right most column.

I knew that , but I figured if you pre-populated it into the Smileys selection shown when the quote or reply button is selected it would be used a lot more often !

This is a 5 series station wagon that has been made less useful due to the sloping rear roofline and BMW hopes it will attract buyers because it looks more like a similarly space -challenged Prius .
Boy , the stigma of wagons in the US market is worse than I thought , which is too bad .
I would chose an RS6 Wagon over Cayenne Turbo , RR Sport Supercharged , X6 M, but it ain't coming here .

Rear legroom is similar to legroom in F01 7 series and rear headroom is on par with X5 E70. 5 GT is higher than regular 5 series. According to people who was driving in it, its very luxury. With this car BMW is targeting to different population, they know this car won't attract current BMW owners. With 5 GT they are targeting to older people, who want to sit a little higher, Taxi companies, hotels ... Expected 5 series (F07, F10, F11) sales: 10% GT, 20% Touring, 70% Sedan.
