They'll have a clearcoat finish just as the silver rims do so durability should be good. Furthermore, you'll spend a lot less time cleaning off brake dust. My silver 19" Carrera Classic rims require heavy maintenance to keep clean. After each wash, the car must be driven to empty the water out of the brake rotors which in turn soils the wheels again. Wipe them down again and they're finally clean (for a day or two). Go for the black!

Agree with your experience exactly with the wheel cleaning! I go through MacGuire's wheel cleaner likes it's going out of fashion. At least the Carrera Classics (which I've also got) are probably the easiest Porsche wheel to clean!
